Geraldine McAlinden (Lizzy Murphy) born in Armagh and trained at the Gaeity School of Acting and the Focus Theater in Dublin. Geraldine’s T.V and film credits include ‘Murphy’s Law’, ‘Trapped’ (originally titled in Ireland and the UK as ‘Anton’) (selected for the Galway Film Festival), ‘Bright Idea’ (which won a Royal Television Society award in 2008), ‘The Christmas Ward’ (which won many awards including the Irish National Student Awards and at the L.A. Reel Film festival in 2010), ‘The Guards’ (T.V. Film and pilot), ‘The Incredible Shrinking Office’ (selected for the Corona Cork Film Festival and the Kerry Film Festival) and ‘Grand Opening’ (which was selected for the Foyle Film Festival).

Rory Mullen (Danny Murphy) Rory studied drama in Madrid under the renowned Argentine director Cristina Rota. Since his return to Ireland in 2000,  Rory has being steadily building his credits working both on stage and screen. Rory’s TV/Film credits include Hunger, 1916- Seachtar Na Casca(1916 -The Easter Seven), The Tudors,  and Anton.
Rory has worked with directors such as Steve McQueen, Ciaran Donnelly and Graham Cantwell playing the Mass Priest in Hunger( Winner Camera d’Or Cannes), Martin  in The Tudors(aid to Surrey) and Det. Flynn in Anton. Rory was recently seen in 1916 Seachtar na Casca(1916-The Easter Seven) playing Thomas Clarke in the IFTA winning series. He will be seen in the soon to be released Portrait of a Zombie and next year in Seven Songs for Amy.

Patrick Murphy (Billy Murphy) Patrick was a regular on the hit Irish TV series ‘The Podge and Rodge show’ and the Declan Cassidys TV series ‘The House’. Some recent production credits include The Tudors (Showtime TV series 3),Maru(Irish TV drama series), Veronique (IFB Short Film by Declan Cassidy),The Hellfire Club (IFA short film by Paul O’Halloran),Begrudgery (Short film by Emmy award winning Director Dustin Morrow),Four (independant Film by Patrick Wimp,And Winner of best drama-Illinois International Film Festival) and The Man In The Boot (Winner best short film-Waterford Film Festival.Directed by Anthony kinsella). Patrick can be most recently seen in the RTE Drama Love/Hate.

Todd Fletcher (American Documentary Filmmaker) studied acting in New York at Michael Howard Studios. He starred in the film “Yard of Blondes” which won a WorldFest Houston platinum award in 2008. He starred in the Irish short “Arriving at Departures” and most recently appeared in the Stephen Spielberg “Lincoln” film project. Todd was cast in Portrait of a Zombie after he starred in a 48-hour film short also produced by Organ Hill Films.

Sonya O’ Donoghue (Louise Murphy) studied Theatre Performance for two years in Cork with Belinda Wild. She is a member of the Focus theatre. Productions include the award winning Slaughterhouse, Swan and the critically acclaimed Tic by Elizabeth Moynihan. She has also appeared in a number of short films and is a co-founding member of Flash in the Pan Collective. She has recently finished filming ‘Jack Taylor’ produced by Magma TV directed by Stuart Orme.

Paul O’Bryan (Darren Murphy) Paul trained at the Bull Alley Performing Arts School for 4 years and appeared in Shakespeare’s Loves Labours Lost, Paddy Chayefsky’s Marty & Gunter Grasses, The Wicked cooks. Paul’s musical credits include Chass Rag time Fillies & Parade. Paul finshed college in 09 and appeared in the Dublin Fringe festival’s 5 star play Ann and Barry What Kind Of Time Do You Call This, and the Shift Theatre Production Of Hayfever. Portrait of Zombie is his first feature film role.

Steven Neeson (Camera Guy) Steven Neeson has been an actor for the past ten years. He has studied with talented teachers including Kevin McHugh, Joe Devlin, Halina Frost and Christian Marken. He has appeared in plays by William Shakespeare, Brian Friel, and Christopher Durang. In 2008, he received a glowing review in the Irish Times for his One-Man-Show, Stopping By The Woods, written and directed by Paul Kennedy. His first feature film performance was in the movie Anton (aka Trapped) directed by Graham Cantwell. Portrait of a Zombie marks his second feature role.

Sara Eavan (Documentary Assistant Director) grew up in Dublin, Ireland and started acting at a young age when she secured a place for herself at the Gaiety School of Acting’s Youth Theatre company. Has been an active member of Dalkey Players drama society starring in plays such as The Crucible, Translations and most recently as Miss Skeggs in Tom Murphy’s costume drama She Stoops To Folly. Sara has worked behind the camera, creating documentaries. In 2009 had roles in two independent feature films Shackled and Portrait of a Zombie.

Gerry Shanahan (Gang Boss) has appeared in over 80 productions in Ireland and abroad. He has trained extensively in the U.S. with Margie Haber, Crystal Carson and Mindy Sterling and Mark W. Travis, Burbank. . In Ireland, he trained at the Gaiety School of Acting,, with John Cantwell at the Irish Film Actors Studio in Dublin, and with Emmett Scanlan. His film credits include films such as Tart, Omagh, The Solution, Derelict, Color from the Dark, Vexations, Wrath of the Crows and The Second Death. He has recently finished shooting short films The County and Trihill Bridge. Features being released this year include Portrait of a Zombie, My Angel, and Shackled. He will be starring with Patrick Bergin in After Dark-Black Hollow (Ireland), Zombie Massacre (Romania), The Red Death and Il Castillo Gentile (both Italy) in 2012.

Diane Jennings (Aoife McCarthy) Diane has a Masters of Philosophy in Film Theory and History from Trinity College Dublin and Bachelor of Arts Degrees in English Literature and Drama, Psychoanalysis and Film Studies. Dianes screen work includes Lenny Abrahamsons Dublin: The Movie, Conor McMahons The Town and Noel Brady’s An Tain. 2011 was as always a busy theatre year seeing Diane return to a second run of Men are from Phibsboro, Women from Stoneybatter (The New Theatre) in the role of Amy directed by Rua O’Donnachu. Following this Diane toured with Duked Productions in their Sold Out National run of The Colleen Bawn in which she played the title role, directed by Ailish Leavy. Most recently Diane appeared in Nick Johnsons Howl Ensemble (Ten Days in Dublin festival). Other roles include Kitty in The Trial of Michael collins (The New Theatre) Helena in A Midsummer Nights Dream (The Pavillion Theatre) and Imke in Murder Monologues.

Ciaron Davies (Sound Guy) is an Irish actor, musician, writer and filmmaker. Recent acting credits include, The 5th Dimension, Intersection Number Nine, The Final Duel, The Liquidators, Behind bars, The dogs life, Four and Prey. He and his band, The Plan are currently recording a new album called Murderous sea shanties.2012 will be a busy year for him with various film and music projects in the pipeline.


Neill Fleming (Protest Leader) has been acting his entire life. Eventually someone suggested he try it on an actual stage, and he’s never looked back. Since then he has gone on to work on TV and film. Playing Bob Crachit in Jason Figgis haunting version of A Christmas Carol. Recently he starred in the cable mini-series Game of Thrones(2nd Series) as well as Portrait of a Zombie.
